J&H Tours have arranged a special tour to the Marlborough incorporating gourmet dinners, wine tasting from 4 of Marlborough’s iconic producers and a highlight will be the Pinot Noir tasting with the MANA Wine Group. The MANA Group members are TeWhare Ra, Herzog, Fromm, Hula and Seresin wineries whose philosophy includes organic and sustainable viticulture producing only quality wines.
J&H Tours have operated tours to the Marlborough continually over the last 10 years. These tours are all inclusive and incorporate all activities as per the brochure.
This tour has been expanded to 6 days and includes new activities as well as past favourites.
New activities:
- Accommodation at the newly renovated luxury Marlborough Chateau located on the fringe of town allowing access for shopping and sightseeing.
- Private dinner at Dave & Sarah Anderson’s BEC Luxury Lodge. Both icon chefs in the Marlborough.
- Additional day allows visit to Nelson where we have a private morning tea in the Bonnington’s beautiful hilltop home, a wonderful seafood lunch at the Boathouse Café and a visit to the famous Museum of Wearable Arts.
Old favourites such as cruising around in the Pelorus Sounds on the Odyssey with green lipped mussel tasting and a wonderful dinner, lobster dinner at Kaikoura, private wine tastings and lunch in the Wither Hills Barrel Room, plus visits to Highfield Estate, Auntsfields, Marlborough’s oldest winery and our shopping and morning tea stop at Kaikoura on route back to Christchurch.
For those who have travelled with us before there are lots of new things to do. For those who have not travelled on this tour or to Marlborough before this tour promises a great relaxed short break which focuses on wine, gourmet dining and unique travel experiences.
